Organizational Status: NGO, founded in 1980.
General Description: INSOTEC was established as a research organization with the goal of stimulating the social, economic, and technological sectors of Ecuador. INSOTEC's programs have also included business development services and general policy dialogues with government entities. The institute has built links with de National Federation of Chambers of Small Industry (FENAPI) and developed a program aimed at strengthening all levels of businesses.
