Organizational Status: Independent institute, founded in 1971.

General Description: IDCJ specializes in the field of development and cooperation. From its inception, IDCJ has pursued an agenda of training, research, and consulting activities. IDCJ's research principles are based on an integrated interdisciplinary approach, which combines theory and practice, and always retains a staunchly neutral bias. The center's activities fall under four areas: consulting, training, research, and international exchange.
