Organizational Status: Independent NGO, founded in 1993.
General Description: CESS is dedicated to promoting and sustaining democratic structures and processes in defense and foreign policy making across Europe and to encouraging informed public debate on security matters. The center encourages international collaboration in its education and research work in order to foster mutual understanding in the security field, a crucial element in the construction of a stable, all-European order of civil societies under the rule of law
