General Description: IEIE SB RAS's main objectives were originally directed on the creation of an economic basis for development of studies in Siberia, the application of economic-mathematical methods, and the training of economists in Siberia. Today, IEIE SB RAS conducts fundamental and applied researches in the fields of economics and sociology; makes scientific and methodological recommendations for central and regional administrations, enterprises, and other organizations; disseminates scientific knowledge and education; and advances international collaboration in relation to the institute's areas of researches.
