General Description: IIR, affiliated with National Chengchi University, was established to carry out research into international and communist Chinese affairs for use as reference in government policy making, to submit reports and suggestions to the government concerning major events in mainland China and overseas, and to promote understanding of and support for the Republic of China in the international community.
