General Description: CPRI, established by a small group of Chinese scholars, researchers, scientists, economists, and engineers with Japan study/work experience in Japan and residing mainly in Silicon Valley, focuses on comparative social, economical, political, and technological policy issues concerning the U.S.-Japan-China axis. The institute received USIRS 501(c)(3) NPO status in 2002. USA, Japan, and China together represent nearly half of the world's output and are becoming ever more strategically interdependent. Each of these powers is increasingly sensitive to changes in the others' capabilities and policies.
