Abstract:
Public policies in the industrialized democracies are becoming much more complicated, and the necessity for coordinated policy adjustment has become greater, responsive to the rapid changes and diversification of global politics and economy. This study introduces research activities undertaken between 1982 and 1983 by 73 major policy research institutes in North America, Europe and Japan, and summarized their research results. It is written both in Japanese and English. This can be considered an overseas edition of our Japanese language, Almanac of Think Tanks, already published.
