Institute:
Public Policy Research Unit, Department of Political Studies Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London
Abstract:
As Tokyo is on its way to becoming a "world city," it can learn valuable lessons from London, which has already attained this status. The current state of London is analyzed with regard to such areas as public administration, multiple ethnicities, financial functions of the City, and police activities. Filled with case studies and current data, this book presents new perspectives on London's contemporary problems from a Japanese point of view.
