Based on the results of the past four series of research under the common topic of "Issues Associated with Women's Participation in Society," this publication analyzes and evaluates the policies presently being taken in Germany and Italy, where birthrates are low, as well as in the distinct case of Sweden where a rise in the birthrate has recently been observed. The research also examines various alternatives in search for a truly efficient policy.
